Goulash
INGREDIENTS:
500 gr braising steak (beef)
3 onions
2 red peppers
2 green peppers
1 glove of garlic (optional)
1 can of tomatoes in cubes 500 ml
1 spoon paprika (powder)
1 teaspoon sugar
salt and pepper
3 spoons of oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut the meat in pieces. Chop the onion, garlic. Cut the peppers in small pieces.
Put the oil in the roasting pan, add the meat and keep stirring until the meat is brown. Add the onions and the garlic and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the paprikapowder and stir again. Add the peppers and brown lightly. Add the tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir until it comes to the boils. Let it simmer for at least two hours. Stir frequently. Adding water if needed.
Optional extra: before serving add 150g of chorizo. (I use beefcervelat from Stegemann)
Serve with rice or potatoes and a cucumber salad.
