Strawberry Cheesecake
INGREDIENTS:
Strawberry Cheese Cake
100g butter
250g cookie crumbs
600g cream cheese
120g sugar
½ tsp vanilla flavouring
2 eggs
100ml strawberry dessert sauce
whole strawberries
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt butter in saucepan and stir in cookie crumbs.
Press into a loose bottomed tin.
Mix cheese, sugar and vanilla till well blended.
Add eggs and mix well.
Spread half the mixture into the tin.
Now mix the strawberry sauce into the rest of the mixture.
Add the rest of the mixture to the tin and spread evenly around.
Take a knife and swirl carefully through the two layers, trying not to touch the crumb base.
Bake at 170 C for 40 minutes, or until the center is just set.
Cool in fridge for 3 hours minimum.
Serve with whole strawberries mixed in alittle syrup.
Creative option:
Replace the strawberry sauce with 100g of melted chocolate.
