Banana Nut Brownies

INGREDIENTS:
175g butter
300g soft light brown sugar
175g plain chocolate(min 75% cocoa solids)
100g nuts (optional)2 ripe bananas, mashed
100g self raising flour
2 tsp cocoa
1 tsp baking powder

INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 180C
Melt the butter, sugar and chocolate in a bowl over pan of boiling water. be careful the bowl does not come in direct contact with the bubbling water.
Remove from heat and stir in nuts, eggs and bananas until well mixed
Sift in the flour, cocoa and baking powder.
Pour into a well lined tin and bake for 30 mins until firm in the centre.
Cool in tin, then turn out and cut.
