Flapjacks
INGREDIENTS:
150g butter 100g syrup or honey 200g brown sugar 350g porridge oats
INSTRUCTIONS:
Put all the ingredients into a heavy based saucepan Melt down on a medium heat until butter and sugar are disolved Remove pan from the heat and stir in the oats If using add the fruit(raisins, dates, nuts)and turn into a lined baking pan bake for 15-20 mins in 190C til golden brown leave to cool slightly and while still warm remove the lining with flapjacks inside and leave to cool further. Cut into squares and devour!

Sophie's comments: Do not worry if the mixture is still very soft when you take it out of the oven, it should be It will harden in the cool air.
