Meatballs in tomato sauce

INGREDIENTS:
150g (old) bread
150ml milk
1/4 onion finely chopped
450g minced beef
1 tsp ground paprika
olive oil for frying

INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat the oven to 180 C
Crumble the bread into a bowl, pour the milk over and leave to soak for 30 mins
meanwhile make the sauce(see tomato sauce recipe)
as your sauce is simmering, make the meatballs
Put onion and meat in food processor(or bowl) and add the soaked bread, paprika and seasoning and mix well.
Form into balls, using lightly floured hands, it should make about 18 balls.
heat oil in pan and gently fry umtil brown all over
Place in an ovenproof dish and pour the sauce over
Cover and bake for 30 mins.

Sophie's comments: A quicker option is to cook the meatballs alittle longer, drain the oil from the pan and then add the tomato sauce for further cooking on the stove top.
About 10 mins should do.
